AnnMarie Schwarting
Owner & Stylist
With the dream of empowering women and helping others look & feel their best, AnnMarie opened Appearances Salon in 2003 and has 29 years of experience. Born in Huntington, Indiana, she moved to Abilene her freshman year of high school and obtained her cosmetology license from Crum's Beauty School in Manhattan, Kansas.
She is happily married to her husband, John, and a mother of 2 adult children and enjoys working out, quilting, and spending time with friends and family.
TERRIE REIFF
Stylist
Terrie joined Appearances Salon 16 years ago in 2005, Terrie has over 34 years of experience in the industry and loves the versatility Cosmetology has to offer. Her specialties are facials, haircuts, perms and more.
She is happily married to her husband, Bill, and is a mother of 3 adult children and grandmother of 1 granddaughter. She loves gardening, living her life for God, and has ridden her motorcycle over 100,000 miles.
JOANNA BERRY
Stylist
Joanna has been a licensed Cosmetologist since 1988 and loves making people beautiful! She was born and raised in Abilene and enjoys staying involved in her hometown where she and her husband raised their 2 sons. Joanna enjoys spending time with her family and gardening.
Breckyn Greene
Stylist
Breckyn has been a licensed Cosmetologist since May of 2021. Breckyn specializes in color, extensions, Brazilian blowouts, event/hair makeup, and body waxing. She loves building meaningful connections with her clients.
Born and raised in Abilene, Breckyn is happily married to her high school sweetheart, Emmett, and together they have a beautiful and witty daughter. Fun Fact — she is a shopaholic and loves marathons... movie marathons that is.
Kirsten Meehan
Stylist
Kirsten has been a licensed Cosmetologist since May 2022. Kirsten specializes in men and women’s haircuts, color, and event hair. She loves getting to be creative, helping her clients feel their best, and brightening their day!
Kirsten is happily married to her husband Hovie. She loves thrifting, decorating her home, and spending time with her family.

No Show — 50% | 24 Hours — 25%
Please notify the stylist 48 hours in advance if you must change, cancel or reschedule your appointment. Any cancellation made less than 24 hours in advance will result in a 25% service fee charge. Should no contact be made at all to cancel or reschedule your appointment, a 50% service fee charge will occur. Invoices will be sent via email/text. The balance will be due prior to booking future appointments.
